Story telling is the basis of my philosophy for wedding photography. Every story has a beginning, middle, and an end that can be told through photography.
From the bride getting ready with her mother, the groomsmen goofing off before the ceremony, the rambunctious flower girl walking down the isle, the first kiss, and all the fun with friends at the reception, everything should be remembered.
I always find that couples are happy and amazed, upon seeing their photos for the first time, to see all the faces and details that I capture with my camera, while they are caught up in the excitement of their biggest day. It goes by so fast, and my job is to grab the moment forever.
Formal bridal portraits and engagement photos should also be fun and elegant. Using 1950’s Hollywood lighting setups and free style posing techniques, makes photos of brides that are absolutely glamorous.
My years of study at Brooks Institute of Photography helped me to develop a critical eye for composition, color, and light. I am continually drawing off the work of my photographic heroes such as Henri Cartier Bresson, Steve McCurry, and Sam Abell for inspiration.
Photography is my passion and using it to tell the story of your wedding day is my goal.
